Moonlighter 2 Switch 2 Physical

Moonlighter 2 switch 2 physical is a 13 November 2026 cart from Silver Lining Interactive, not a 2 September 2026 surprise. Digital already launched that morning with PS5, Xbox Series, Steam, and the Microsoft Store. GoNintendo’s announcement (digital Sept 2, physical Nov 13) is the Nintendo-flavored version of RPGamer’s three-platform boxed plan: PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2. Standard UK quote £44.99. Collector £69.99 with merch. There is no first-party Switch 1 SKU in Wikipedia, Game Informer, or those retail posts.

The digital build you can play today already has Vault VII, Infinite Vault, Hardcore, shop level 5, Bomb Path, Endless aspects, and the extra Bloblet seat. The cart is that campaign in plastic. It is not a 60 fps patch. PixelNitro’s handheld ~720p / 30 fps and docked dynamic ~900p–1020p still at 30 remain the performance story unless a later note says otherwise.

What Moonlighter 2 switch 2 physical actually ships

Tresna shop at night with Will on the porch
Official Steam still: same Tresna loop. Digital now, cart 13 November 2026.

Standard cart: 1.0. Collector: standard plus collector’s box, digital artbook, three patches, holo sticker, diorama sticker sheets, poster, four postcards, metal coin. GoNintendo’s “looks at home on a shopkeeper’s counter” is packaging poetry. The metal coin will not seat Sir Edwin. Zen Patio remains a real-money add-on on other stores, not a cart extra.

USA and Canada ESRB notes on Silver Lining’s page point local retailers for the rated standard edition. That is labeling, not extra biomes. Import collectors for merch if you want. Do not import expecting Kalina Night as DLC.

NWR’s Jordan Rudek (31 August 2026) liked the sequel more than 2018: node maps, melee-to-gun reload, mini-boss then boss, shop that finally clicked. He also logged hectic-fight frame dips, some crashes the team knew about, and weak restart incentives after a dungeon death. A November cart will still be that port family, hopefully patched. Save in town. This page will not invent a Nintendo Cloud spec Steam has.

PixelNitro: shop UI especially responsive; combat is where Bomb Path and packed rooms tax the chip; loads about 8–15 seconds; softer textures and shadows versus PC; art direction doing the heavy lifting; OLED contrast helps Night Realm. Lower your comparison if you came from a 60 fps Steam file, not your standards for jump tells.

Digital already has 1.0 — so why a cart

Vault cube plaza
Official Steam still: the cube is live digitally. Plastic is a shelf, not Vault VIII.

Play now if you own Switch 2 and want the ending this week. HowLongToBeat’s small sample sits around fourteen hours for main story. You can finish before the truck arrives. Buy the cart if you want plastic you own when a storefront expires. Game Pass is not on this SKU. Play Anywhere is not on this SKU. Steam Workshop is not on this SKU.

Demo availability on Nintendo was not in TechTimes’s Steam/PS5 demo sentence. Do not assume a Switch demo without a store listing.

Mistakes: buying a Switch 1 listing from a scalper. Waiting until November to play if digital is already on your home screen. Expecting 60 fps docked because you paid £44.99. Expecting PC shadows. Installing PC mods. Hunting Game Pass on the cart. Inventing a 750000 gold cart exclusive.

Canonical URLs live on https://moonlighter2wiki.wiki. Open switch for the port, switch-2-fps for the frame budget, physical for the three-platform plan, collector-edition for merch.

No co-op. No extra slime. Same Sliver, same Herald, same Perfect faces. Handheld sessions fit the shop-and-node loop. Load tax adds minutes over a weekend, not a second campaign.

Crashes: save in Tresna often. Digital Sun was aware as of 31 August. If a September crash still exists, it is a patch, not a reason to wait for resin. If November plastic ships an older build, let Nintendo’s update run. This page will not invent cart-revision tables.

Texture filtering and softer shadows are the sacrifice. Stylized color is the save. OLED is a free visual upgrade for Night without a patch. Mid-20s bombs are short. If you are allergic to 30, Steam exists. If you want the couch and a box, this is the SKU.

Reddit AMA on r/Nintendo around 3 September was a community event, not a second launch. Developer Update #8 listed those hours. 1.0 still landed 2 September digitally.

Silver Lining pre-orders will change stock. A 3 September 2026 scrape is not live inventory. Read the store. Local retail ESRB carts may differ in price from £44.99.

Family Sharing is Steam. Nintendo accounts are Nintendo. Two islands. Cloud if Nintendo’s account sync is enabled on your file — unconfirmed spec beyond “save in town.”

Shop rank 5, Sliver, and Perfect stamps do not wait for November. Meet Sliver in Kalina now. Rank the store now. The cart will inherit that file if Nintendo Cloud or local save carries it — play on the same account you will use in November. This page will not invent a second-profile trick.

Jump versus roll still matters at 30 fps. Jump clears ground waves. Roll covers lasers. Herald’s backpack throw still strips a shield. A cart does not auto-win. NWR still finished a compelling loop. PixelNitro still called art direction the save.

Greed and Glory, Blob-Life, and 1.0 are already inside digital. Console players get those as one blob. PC players who lived EA already know the scars. A Switch 2 cart buyer in November is a console first-timer plus anyone who waited for plastic. Both get the same Tresna.

Do not install BepInEx. Do not hunt Nexus. Do not expect Steam Deck verified marketing to appear on a Nintendo box. 11 bit’s Deck bundle is Valve merchandising.

Soundtrack complaints in NWR (forgettable score, louder SFX) will not be fixed by a cart. Buy the official soundtrack DLC if you want the album; it is $9.99 on Steam in the scrape, not a cart extra.

If two retailers disagree on £44.99 vs a local number, local wins. RPGamer quoted UK announcement prices. ESRB carts may differ. Collector merch list should match: box, digital artbook, three patches, holo, diorama sheets, poster, four postcards, coin.

Keep digital if you want Infinite Vault this week. Buy plastic if you want a shelf. Do both if you are a completionist of boxes. The cube does not track pre-orders.

Languages on the box should match the ten-language table. English full audio. Set language before you stamp Perfect.

Hardcore still dumps the run bag on a cart. Infinite still resets a failed gold threshold. Neither mode is “cart exclusive.”

A Switch 2 cart file still needs Sliver, Herald, and Perfect stamps. The plastic only changes when the truck arrives.

Retail street dates can slip. If 13 November 2026 moves, believe Silver Lining and Nintendo’s eShop, not a leaked spreadsheet. Digital will still have been 2 September. The cube does not care which week the truck arrived, only whether you spent gold on cells instead of waiting.

Use Moonlighter 2 switch 2 physical as a November cart of a 1.0 you can already play, until scalper Switch 1 listings are ignored and 30 fps is the expected band, not a betrayal.
