Moonlighter 2 Quest Guide
A Moonlighter 2 quest guide is a town-log decoder, not a spoiler novel. TheGamer’s 19 November 2025 table listed fourteen tasks given by Andrei, Eris, Tomo, Babyl, Masa, Julien, a portal arm, and Nou with Anacard. Steam’s 1.0 blog said new quests and cutscenes close Will’s Tresna arc without reprinting that table. Your job is to walk every marked NPC after each Vault key, keep unique boss mats, and treat Eris riddles as platforming grades rather than loot tables. This page is the index. Dedicated URLs exist for Howling Harbor, Treasury Halls, Kalina Night, Greed Colosseum, Masa, and the thief task.
How to read a Moonlighter 2 quest guide against the 1.0 town log

Tasks named by TheGamer, in the order that actually unblocks crafts: Friendly Hammer (Andrei) wants any Merchant starter from four Sun Eaters found in Kalina Day. Old Days, New Tech wants Herald’s Sound of Hubris. New Days, Broken Tech wants Thalaam’s Alabaster Candle. The Archeologist (Tomo) wants four Echo Links from Gallery trash. Jail of the Lustrous (Babyl) wants Curator’s Quantum Core. Police Jurisdiction (Babyl) wants Tyke’s Broken Rocket. Souls Forever Lost and its sequel (Julien) want Senda’s Left King’s Mask and Monte’s Right King’s Mask. Magic Land (Eris) wants four Oneiric Quartz from Aeolia trash. Weapon Mastery wants any boss dead with the Old Broom. Thief Trophy wants Masa’s glass cell broken with Aetherium Heart, then a talk south near Julien.
Eris’s three hidden-treasure tasks are the ones search engines smash together. Desert Day Realm hides The Vow. Gallery Exhibition Wing hides Heartbeat Hunter. Aeolia Zephyr Fields hides Blo-Blaster. Jz’s Steam guide maps hammer nodes, left stairs after a mini-boss, and a spawn zipline. Community comments on that same thread also argue about Howling Harbor ladders near a father-and-child question mark and a Kalina Night crate in the right corner of a Therapeutic onsen. Those extra pins are not in TheGamer’s fourteen. Label them community until your file shows a scroll. Do not invent gold.
The Voice Beyond is an arm coming out of a south-map portal that asks for 500 gold and then unlocks a new NPC. That 500 is a dialogue price, not a plaza cube key. This site will not turn it into a 750000 rumour. Spend it when the log asks. Nou can later sell some discovered mats, which is useful when you already saw a unique drop once and need a duplicate for a craft.
1.0’s story quests sit on Vault V–VII and the Infinite Vault after the ending. Rogueliker and TechTimes both stress that the narrative closes at Vault VII, then the gold treadmill starts. New cutscenes change Tresna around you. Walk the square after the credits instead of assuming the fourteen-row table is the whole 1.0 log. Hardcore is not a questline. It is a bag-risk toggle.
How to actually run a day: open the shop, stamp Perfect on new Codex rows, talk to anyone with a mark, then pick a biome that feeds the next mat. If Andrei is waiting on a candle, Kalina Night is the run. If Babyl wants a rocket, Gallery’s second area is the run. If Julien wants a mask, Aeolia is the run. If Eris is talking about hammers, you are in Kalina Day, not Night. Night Realm as a search term is Thalaam plus confusion with the desert riddle. Split those doors.
Greed and Glory added a special quest for Blo-Blitz dual guns and the Greed Colosseum wave mode. COGconnected’s March 2026 piece is the public source. Enter the arena from the mode the update placed in town, not from a fabricated gold gate. HEX, extra rooms, and perk expansions are not tasks, but they change how you survive the rooms those tasks send you into.
Shop-adjacent jobs still count as quests in player language. K33P3R ranks, Comtesse furniture, Sliver backpack cells, and bloblet slots are how you fund the blacksmith. Prima’s faces (Cheap, Perfect, Expensive, Overpriced) keep the till honest. Selling a unique mat because it looked like a relic with a face is the classic fail. Sound of Hubris, Alabaster Candle, Quantum Core, Broken Rocket, and both king masks stay in the bag until the NPC animation plays.
Nintendo World Report describes a dungeon as nodes, optional perks, a halfway mini-boss, and a body at the end. Treasure rooms often sit on optional paths before a portal. If you always pick the fastest combat node, you will starve Eris. If you always pick mystery question marks, you will find Sliver, Nou, and recipes — which is the other half of this index. The question-mark page on this site covers mystery materials. This page covers named tasks.
Order traps: Aetherium Heart requires Senda’s mask and Julien after an Aeolia visit, which means you cannot free Masa on your first Gallery walk. Combat Rod’s recipe is the reward for that free. Rectifier wants Curator plus Tyke via Babyl. Sun and Moon Ballad wants Herald’s quest done and Thalaam’s candle. Ray Axe wants Monte. Ultimate sticks in Early Access sat behind Vault challenge four (TheGamer: earn 200,000 gold, Burning Hammer at Andrei). 1.0 later keys are not a published recipe dump; craft what Andrei shows.
Mistakes: treating Night Realm as a fourth Eris treasure; hitting Masa’s cell with Merchant’s Large Sword; doing Weapon Mastery in Hardcore; skipping Tomo because Echo Links looked cheap; paying a website for “quest IDs”; assuming Steam news reprinted the fourteen. Walk Anacard’s corner. Walk Babyl on the right. Walk Julien after Aeolia even if the run was a death. TheGamer noted Blo-Beam appears after any Gallery run including escapes.
Canonical URLs live on https://moonlighter2wiki.wiki. Open the biome treasure pages when the riddle is the blocker, the coliseum page when the arena is the blocker, and the liberate-masa page when the glass is the blocker. Do not paste this index into those URLs. Each keyword gets its own steps.

Town map versus the cube
Andrei is the blacksmith. Eris gives riddles. Tomo wants Echo Links. Babyl stands on the right of the hub. Julien sits south and shares that sidewalk with Masa after the free. Nou sells perks and some discovered mats. Anacard hides southeast of Nou. The portal arm is south and asks for 500 gold. K33P3R ranks the shop. Comtesse sells furniture. Sliver is a dungeon vendor you meet on a question-mark node before they ever feel like a townie. Mixing those names is how a task feels stuck when you are simply in the wrong building holding the right mat.
Rogueliker quoted the studio on 1.0 morning: new quests, cutscenes, and discoveries bring Will’s journey to its conclusion, then the Infinite Endless Vault. After Vault VII, walk the square twice. A new mark is a new row. An old mark that never closed is still one of TheGamer’s fourteen. The arm’s 500 gold did not scale into a plaza key in any public note. Dialogue prices and cube keys remain different species. This site will not merge them because a YouTuber used the word greed.
A pad helps Weapon Mastery and Gallery lasers more than it helps talking to Tomo. Switch 2 physical carts dated 13 November 2026 do not add tasks. Game Pass Xbox files do not share a quest log with a PS5 file. Steam Cloud does not carry a Masa free onto a console. If you played Early Access on PC, keep walking NPCs after the 2 September patch because flags can sit un-pinged even when gold carried.
Sample week if you want a script. Days 1–3: shop shifts, Sliver mystery node, Sun Eaters, Friendly Hammer. Days 4–6: Herald, Old Days, desert Eris when a hammer node appears. Week 2: any Gallery run for Blo-Beam, Tomo’s four Links, Curator’s Core. Week 3: Night candle, Aeolia spawn scroll, Senda for the Heart, Treasury Halls cell, Monte for the axe. Sprinkle the broom dare on a Herald replay when the purse can afford a slow kill. Insert Glory’s Blo-Blitz marker when it exists. Insert story marks when the cube says so, not when a spreadsheet says 750000.
If a task refuses to close, reboot, talk again, and check you are holding the mat rather than a quality-boosted lookalike. Codex names are not always NPC names. Nou sells a duplicate after the first find, not a skip for the kill. Hardcore dumps the mat if you die on the way home — TechTimes is the citation.
Keep this Moonlighter 2 quest guide as the town index, then jump to the named biome or NPC page when a single riddle is the only line still open in the log.
