Moonlighter 2 prices are not a tooltip. Every relic you haul to The Moonlighter needs a number you type yourself. Customers answer with Cheap, Perfect, Expensive, or Overpriced. Regulars buy anything that is not Overpriced. Shop perks fill when you sell Cheap or Perfect. Digital Sun restored that free typing after Steam Next Fest players rejected a more locked system, then added a calendar layer so some relics feel hotter on certain days.

Prima Games documented the four faces during Early Access and they still describe 1.0 shifts. Cheap often leaves a tip and fills the perk meter. Perfect still fills the meter and might tip. Expensive can sell without filling perks. Overpriced sits on the shelf. The game remembers the stamp once you find it and will auto-fill that Perfect later, so the first hours are a discovery job, not a forever spreadsheet.

How Moonlighter 2 prices get a stamp without a leaked sheet

Start low on a common. If faces say Cheap, double it. If they say Perfect, nibble a few gold either way until Expensive appears, then sit one step below. If Greed Alert fires you are absurdly high: drop until it vanishes, and do not treat that ceiling as Perfect. A common beginner trick is to start near half the post-alert value and walk up while watching faces.

The Codex in the pause menu lists relics from cheapest to most expensive as well as rarest. Prima’s example: Mother Figure sits left of Heretic Dagger. If you already stamped the Dagger at 400, Mother Figure is below that band, so 300–350 is a smarter first guess than 20. That neighbor trick is how you stop undervaluing rares on day two. Steam community sheets from Blob-Life and Greed and Glory are snapshots. One popular guide is already labeled outdated because Greed and Glory retuned numbers. Copy a 2025 Google Sheet into 1.0 and you will Overprice a wall or starve perks.

Quality sits under the relic and multiplies gold. Customer faces still read the base value, not the quality-inflated total. Boost quality in the backpack when a synergy relic offers it. After a while, a relic that would net under a hundred coins is not worth a bag cell compared with a high-quality Epic. Deluxe diamonds from Tomo research sell higher; they are a gold bet, not a guaranteed jackpot.

Furniture from the Comtesse (Homeware) is not decoration fluff. Showcases are where relics sit; furniture around them boosts sale value. You begin with four showcases and room for furniture. Better cases add modifiers — Prima cites a Sun Display Case that tips 200 gold for an uncommon. Furniture can be shop-wide unless a piece says otherwise. Empty floor is wasted timer. K33P3R ranks change how a shift feels. Unique visitors sometimes want a different band than the stamp; do not freeze the wall because one face frowned. Mid-shift retunes are how Moonlighter 2 prices stay honest when a Greed Alert was a panic thumb, not a real ceiling.

When to Cheap and when to Expensive

Perk points during a shift unlock profit perks. Sell Cheap or Perfect until those perks lock, then raise selected items to Expensive for extra cash. Overpricing the whole wall on day one is the fastest way to a dead perk meter. After perks are bought, a few Expensive legends are fine. Calendar demand can nudge a relic; if a face that was Perfect yesterday is Cheap today, believe the face, not last week’s note.

Shop hours are a timer. Stock the cases before you open. Pet a bloblet if you have one seated, because Blob-Life Balance made storefront interacts a short value sprinkle — they do not replace stamps. Do not pet during a unique inspection of an Overpriced legendary.

Lifetime gold on the cube gates Vault keys. Spending on Sliver still counts as earned gold. Community search volume for “what happens if you get 750000” is real. This site will not invent a named unlock for that number. Official 1.0 copy describes Infinite Vault thresholds that must be hit in a single run, with a fail resetting that threshold. TheGamer’s Early Access notes still mention a Vault challenge around 200,000 gold for the Burning Hammer era; 1.0 added Vault VII and Infinite Vault without publishing a public gold-key table on Steam. Believe the cube in your square.

Mistakes that wreck a shift

Treating Greed Alert as Perfect. Selling Sun Eaters, Echo Links, Oneiric Stones, or Moon Flowers before Andrei has his recipes. Spreading gold across carpets while Sliver’s first cells (4,000 then 8,000 in GameSpot’s Early Access report) are still locked. Trusting a Blob-Life price list after Greed and Glory. Pricing from quality-inflated totals instead of base. Leaving cases empty because you greeded a death in Hardcore and dumped the bag.

Moonlighter 2 prices also fail when you ignore the Codex order and guess 20 on a Gallery rare. They fail when you Overprice to “look rich” and nobody fills perks. They fail when you refuse to reprice mid-shift: Prima is explicit that you can retune while customers walk, and someone else will buy.

Do not paste unofficial 999-spark recipes as if they were Digital Sun patch notes. Community guides about max quality exist; this page will not invent the luck table. Do not claim a 750000 gold statue. Do not sell every Shock-looking Gallery widget if your Codex still needs the entry — keep one until the stamp exists, then sell the rest at Perfect.

Shop rank 4 arrived with Blob-Life Balance (more floor). Rank 5 at 1.0 adds cosmetics, chest space, and a companion slot. Rank 5 does not print Perfect stamps for you. A second bloblet sprinkles; it does not run the till.

If two sources disagree, watch three customers and keep the stamp your file actually wrote. Canonical English URLs live on https://moonlighter2wiki.wiki. Link inventory when bag cells are the real bottleneck and relics when you are deciding keep versus sell.

Late-game Infinite Vault is a gold treadmill, not a new pricing system. The four faces stay Cheap, Perfect, Expensive, Overpriced. Hardcore still dumps the run bag, so a Perfect wall in town does not save a dead expedition.

NPC schedules matter more than a static sheet. Unique visitors and story NPCs walk the floor on their own clocks. If a face that usually buys Perfect walks past an Expensive legend, let it walk; the perk meter already told you whether this shift still needs Cheap volume. K33P3R’s rank perks and Comtesse furniture are town gold sinks that pay back across many shifts, unlike a one-off carpet that only looks busy.

Tomo deluxe research is a quality wager: you spend gold for a chance at a higher diamond, then the face still reads base. If the purse is funding Sliver cells or the next Vault key, skip deluxe for a week. Calendar demand can make a Gallery widget hotter without changing its Codex neighbor. Re-read faces that day instead of rewriting the whole stamp history.

Version 1.0 did not replace the four faces. It added shop level 5 space, more cosmetics, and Infinite Vault gold hunts after Vault VII. Those hunts still convert to the same till. Hardcore dumps the run bag, so the most expensive relic in Tresna is the one you died holding. Practice stamps on a normal file.

Steam discussion guides titled Cheap/Perfect/Expensive remain useful as method, not as law. Jz’s Perfect Price writeup and Dorce’s list both date to Greed and Glory or Blob-Life. If your 1.0 file disagrees, your file wins. This site will not republish those tables.

Use Moonlighter 2 prices as a live reading skill: faces, Codex neighbors, quality as bonus, furniture as multiplier, perks first, cube second. A leaked sheet is a hint, never a law.
